3 Tips For Hosting A Holiday Dinner Party In An Apartment

luxury apartments, condo rentals, midtown toronto, upscale living, high-end amenities, luxury living, modern design, high-rise apartments, premium location, luxury condo rentals, property management companies, Young and Eglinton

Throwing a dinner party for the festive time of year in a small space is NOT impossible – and can be quite easy to manage. Our apartments here at 305 Roehampton go from 531 square feet to 1118 square feet, so we know how real the struggles can get but just because you don’t have a huge area to work with, doesn’t mean it can’t be done. Follow these 3 simple steps and you’ll have yourself a memorable dinner party.

Prepare Your Apartment

There are a couple things you need to do in order to get your apartment prepared for a festive dinner party. First, get rid of the clutter – ALL of it. Clutter can make a small space seem even tinier. Plus, de-cluttering will allow some extra space for not only your party, but for festive décor. Second, turn down the temperature approximately 5 degrees. It can get pretty toasty with many people in one small space.

Rearrange Furniture

Swap your couches with your dining table. Normally, in apartments, living rooms are larger than dining rooms. You may need a hand with this one, but move the dining table into the living room and the couch into the dining room. More room = more space for your guests!

Keep The Food Simple

The more food you have, the bigger the mess and the more space you take up. If your kitchen is on the smaller side, keep the festive menu simple. This well help you keep the mess to a minimum.

Follow these 3 simple steps and you will be able to have a successful holiday dinner party in your apartment. What other tips and tricks do you use when having company over? Let us know in the comments below!
